Our Field IS Our Pulpit

My name is Sozo. A few months ago, I had the opportunity to participate in Kingdom Business training through the Activate Global team. I came in as a farmer—but I left with a whole new understanding of what farming could be.

Through the training, I realized that my work wasn’t separate from my ministry—it was my ministry. Every seed sown, every hand I shook, every conversation in the field became a moment for discipleship and hope. Farming, I now see, is more than food production. It’s a platform for transformation.

Together, we launched an initiative that allowed us to dedicate 20 hectares of land to local women and their families. Over 100 women participated. We sat with them, listened to their stories, their fears, their dreams. We provided subsidized machinery to ease their labor, and we introduced more effective ways to cultivate the land. But the real breakthrough wasn’t just in the yield—it was in the relationships.

By engaging directly with these women, we created space for hands-on training, business mentorship, and—most importantly—spiritual discipleship. We spoke of Kingdom values. Of God’s love. Of the hope of the gospel. These were not just farming sessions—they were ministry appointments, where heaven met the harvest.

We hope to replicate and expand this strategy in the coming seasons. Our vision is to continue reaching women in practical, tangible ways—while planting seeds of eternal significance. It’s not just about crops. It’s about cultivating minds, renewing worldviews, and discipling hearts through the very work of their hands.

What’s in their hands—what’s in our hands—is enough. It’s our pulpit. Our mission field. And it’s fertile ground for life to be transformed.

So to the Activate Global team: thank you. Thank you for your heart, your sacrifice, and your faith in the power of business to breathe the Kingdom of God into every corner of the world. You’ve made life more purposeful. And I believe heaven rejoices at every woman reached, every soul touched, and every community changed—one field at a time.
